Inground spotlights literally stage architecture and landscape - for wall wash on facades, tree lighting in the garden or as orientation path light. The classic use for inground spotlights is wall wash lighting: the luminaire is installed in the ground directly in front of the facade and shines vertically upwards. Depending on the beam angle, a precise light stripe (narrow beam) or a broad wash (wide beam) is created. Important: distance to the wall at least 20cm, ideally 30-40cm, so the light spreads beautifully.
Depending on the model. VYSN inground spotlights with high load class (min. 2000 kg wheel load) can be driven over by cars. For trucks you need correspondingly higher classes. Check the product page under "Impact resistance" or "Load capacity".
You need an excavation according to the installation box, a watertight cable connection (damp-room junction box below the luminaire) and a drainage layer of gravel below the installation box so rainwater can drain. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
