Wall wash effect: lighting facades correctly
The classic use for inground spotlights is wall wash lighting: the luminaire is installed in the ground directly in front of the facade and shines vertically upwards. Depending on the beam angle, a precise light stripe (narrow beam) or a broad wash (wide beam) is created. Important: distance to the wall at least 20cm, ideally 30-40cm, so the light spreads beautifully.
