White ceiling lamps merge with the ceiling surface, leaving only the light visible. Ideal for all situations where the luminaire should not be a design element but simply fulfil its task. Fits classic living spaces as well as conference rooms, medical practices or reception areas. In renovations you also save repainting the ceiling - white on white stays functional without adjustment.
Surface mounting only requires a cable outlet and a stable surface. This works on concrete, drywall, wood and metal. For wooden ceilings, check the fire protection requirements of your region, possibly mount with fire protection kit. For suspended ceilings, stable fixing directly to the frame is sufficient.
Rule of thumb: 150-200 lumens per square metre in living space, 300-500 lumens in work or kitchen. A 7W LED with ca. 700 lumens covers ca. 4-5sqm living space. For exact planning use our lux calculator at /tools/lux-rechner.
