LED Wall Lamps
Wall lamps with IP44 are protected against splash water from all directions and approved for bathroom zone 2 (outside shower/tub). VYSN offers selected black models with integrated LED module and sealed housings. Ideal for bathrooms, guest WCs with shower, sauna anterooms or covered outdoor areas.

The German bathroom standard DIN VDE 0100-701 divides the bathroom into zones 0-3. In zone 0 (inside tub/shower) only extra-low voltage is allowed, in zone 1 IPX4 is required, in zone 2 (0.60m around tub/shower) also IPX4. Outside the zones IP20 would suffice, but IP44 additionally protects against condensation and splashing water. The black IP44 wall lamps from VYSN are thus suitable for the entire bathroom environment except direct water contact.
No. In the shower (zone 1) IP44 is sufficient in many cases, but in the direct shower environment or above the splash zone you need at least IP65. For zone 2 (from 0.60m distance) IP44 is allowed. When in doubt, always choose the higher protection rating.
Only in covered outdoor areas (e.g. under canopy or covered terrace). For unprotected outdoor mounting - facade, garden wall, entrance without canopy - you need IP65 or higher. Our pure outdoor luminaires all have at least IP65.
