A row of two or three pendants over the table, plus four to six recessed downlights around the perimeter, handles both task lighting at the table and ambient fill. Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between meeting room and conference room lighting?+
In practice very little, the requirements overlap heavily (low glare, neutral colour, dimmable). "Conference room" tends to imply a larger or more formal space; "meeting room" is the more general term. VYSN's product range covers both with the same families.
Do video calls need special lighting?+
They need even, frontal light on faces, not above-and-behind. A pendant centered over the meeting table delivers this naturally. Recessed downlights directly above seated people create racoon-eye shadows from the brow ridge; offset them slightly forward of where people sit, or supplement with a pendant.
