VYSN offers the complete IP65 programme - wall lamps, recessed and surface spots for covered ceilings, inground spotlights and ground-recessed. All models are made of UV-stable, powder-coated aluminium and approved for continuous outdoor use.

Where IP65 makes the difference

IP65 is suitable for all normal outdoor conditions - rain, snow, salt spray, freeze-thaw cycles. For outdoor areas without covering, facade mounting, garden installations and parking garages, IP65 is reliably sufficient. Only with temporary submersion (inground spotlights in rain puddles, shoreline lights) does IP67 or IP68 become necessary. For covered outdoor areas under canopy or carport, IP44 technically suffices, but we recommend IP65 as the future-proof choice.

VYSN IP65 product families

The VYSN IP65 range includes: up/down wall lamps for facades and entrances, recessed and surface spots for covered outdoor ceilings (canopy, carport), ceiling lamps for terraces and balconies, inground spotlights for wall wash and pathway lighting. All use integrated LED modules with 2700K or 3000K, are directly connected to 230V and require no separate transformer.

Do IP65 luminaires withstand heavy rain?+

Yes, IP65 protects against jet water from all directions - equivalent to a solid water jet from a nozzle. Heavy rain is covered. Only direct submersion or continuous flooding require IP67 or IP68.

How long do IP65 outdoor lights last?+

LED modules last 30,000-50,000 operating hours at normal use (approx. 20+ years at 4h/day). The UV-stable powder coating on aluminium remains colour-fast and corrosion-free for the same period. Important: watertight cable connection during installation to prevent moisture ingress.
