LED Rope System
Rope systems are the most elegant solution for rooms with high ceilings or open roof trusses. Two parallel wire ropes are tensioned across the room, the spots sit on the ropes and can be positioned freely. The black system stays visually discreet and looks modern - ideal for lofts, studios, galleries and exhibition spaces.

Two thin steel ropes (approx. 2mm diameter) are fastened to wall or ceiling and tensioned via a tensioner. A transformer feeds the system with low-voltage DC, the spots grip the ropes on both sides via contact clips. You can move the spots anytime, retrofit additional spots or rebuild the entire installation. The rope distance is typically 8-15cm.
The maximum span length depends on the transformer and number of spots. Typical VYSN installations range from 3m to 10m. For longer runs we recommend intermediate ceiling supports so the ropes don't sag.
VYSN rope system spots are complete luminaires with integrated LED module. You combine the spots freely with different wattages and beam angles. Bulb replacement is not needed or possible - the LED module lasts 30,000-50,000 hours, equivalent to over 20 years at 4h/day.
